MSTS disk digitalised for future
Hello all,
Just a question for anyone really.
I have a collection of commerical addon routes and packs that are cd / dvd format, but with the future of disks no longer the desired format, I was wondering how is the best way to copy or image these so that I could store them on a removable drive, obviously I will NOT be selling them, so anything that needs a serial number installed will be saved into a excel sheet.
Many thanks for your replies.
Craig
Also dont worry Wessex Route is still not going away, I am just trying something out, which may or may not come out with the next version

Re: MSTS disk digitalised for future
Hi Craig,
I have saved all my commercial and community CDs/DVDs as .iso (disk image) files.
I'm not sure if Win 10 (or 11) can do it, but the CD/DVD burner I use has a facility to create an image of a CD or DVD on my hard drive.
There are several freeware programs which will do the job - ImgBurn and Express Disk Burning Software to name but two!
Cheers,
Ged
