Open Rails under Windows 10
Hi All,
There don't appear to be any problems running Open Rails under Windows 10 using NVIDIA or AMD graphics cards.
Running setup_OR_pre_v1.0_from_download.exe (as administrator) installs the required NET and XNA Framework software, together with the X2194 version of OR without any problem.
Cheers,
Ged

Thanks Ged, I guessed there wouldn't be any issues in running it with OR....Even if there are bugs to resolve...

Re: Open Rails under Windows 10
I have just installed OR onto my new win 7 computer, it wouldn't let me download the setup_OR_pre_v1.0.exe from the OR site, it came up with a download stopped warning, something to do with the browser and it affecting my browsing if I remember it right, so I downloaded the zip version without the extra MS software. I downloaded MS XNA from the MS website and it runs ok, didn't need the .NET download as I probably have a later version already installed (.NET 4?) that earlier version of .NET in the OR download is probably what triggered the warning, whatever the reason was, the other download without XNA and .NET is working fine.
It seems strange that it worked OK on a win 10 machine which should have the latest version of .NET, unless MS haven't included it with the pre-release version of win 10.

Hi Mark,
I sometimes get a warning after downloading a file, but I override it if I know that the site is OK. I use the Chrome browser.

Ged

Hi Ged
I use chrome too, but it wouldn't let me override it, it just cancelled the download part way through, doesn't matter though as I downloaded XNA directly from the MS website and I already had .NET on the computer.
