There will be three different versions initially:
Class 150/0 Prototype version
Class 150/1 Original version
Class 150/1 Modified cersion (with Snowploughs)

All versions will feautre:
Interiors light up
MSTS Bin lighting and switchable cabview (make sure you have that installed).

The units will use the Class 150/1 Cabview as a common.cab, and default KIHA 31 Sounds, with the option of using Sprinter sounds from MT:Great Eastern (If you own that product). But for 150002 unit, as it is a Rolls-Royce engined unit, GNR BUT Railcar Sound Package will be used for the sounds.

This brand new model will hopefully generate more popularity with MSTS.

We have another addition to the London Underground collection for MSTS. Yes, we have the 1972 Tube Stock...













It is being tested at the moment to ensure there are no problems creeping in. The unit will be using the 1967 Cabview (with full permission from Darren Carter) and the sounds (with full permission from Jimi Ibbett), so very thanks to them for the permission to use them for the 72TS. Once I'm happy with the model, then it will be uploaded to UKTS.

I will be making a start on the 1972 Tube Stock in original condition in due course. In the meantime, hope you will like this model.

Hi Alistair,

Both models look great and will start to fill some of the missing gaps in our rolling stock collections. From a personal preference I tend not to use modern stock but will definitely use the 1972 Tube Stock when it becomes available.

LU 1972 Tube Stock Refurbished will be nearly ready, should be uploaded for next weekend.

Three 1972 Tube Stock units will be available in Microsoft Train Simulator:
"LU 72TSR Bakerloo E&C" - with destination Elephant & Castle.
"LU 72TSR Bakerloo H&W" - with destination Harrow & Wealdstone.
"LU 72TSR Bakerloo SP" - with destination Stonebridge Park.

The LU 72TSR will feature the passenger view and the headout view. Will work in all MSTS versions, however those with MSTSbin will benefit the night cabview at night and in tunnels.

I will be uploading the LU 1972 Tube Stock probably next weekend. Everything is now completed, just need to upload to UKTS now.

Here is my latest project:


Class 377 is being upgraded to Version 2.0. Ok, 377/4 "377420" and the First Capital Connect Class 377/5 "377504" are not in this picture, but will be done as well.

Changes include the addition of the headout view, front textures re-worked and a few details added. Some inaccuracies have been fixed. The work will also be done on my Class 375 models.

I have uploaded the improved version of Class 375, 376 and 377 models last month following the make over.

Also, I have improved the Class 487 W&C Stock models and have been uploaded as version 2.0. However, further improvements have since been made and will be re-released to UKTS as version 2.1.

Now, we have the LU 1972 Tube Stock in "as-built" version, coming soon to MSTS...













This version will feature five destinations for the Northern Line:
"LU 72TS Northern EDG"    - with destination Edgware via Charing Cross.
"LU 72TS Northern EDG BB" - with destination Edgware via Bank.
"LU 72TS Northern HBA"    - with destination High Barnet via Charing Cross.
"LU 72TS Northern KEN"    - with destination Kennington via Charing Cross.
"LU 72TS Northern MOR BB" - with destination Morden via Bank.

Also to be released is the LU 1972 MKII Tube Stock, again in "as-built" version:











For this version, there will be six destinations, three for the Northern and three for the Bakerloo:
"LU 72TS MKII BL E&G" - with destination Elephant & Castle
"LU 72TS MKII BL H&W" - with destination Harrow & Wealdstone
"LU 72TS MKII BL SP"  - with destination Stonebridge Park.

And finally, the Refurbished 1972 Tube Stock (which was uploaded earlier in June) has fixes done since it was uploaded, and therefore that will be uploaded as version 1.2. It will be uploaded the same time as the other 1972 Tube Stocks. One main difference, however, is that the floor for the interior has been re-done, as shown here:



Everything has been tested error and mistake free, all I need to do now is upload them, and this will probably be done at the weekend. (I'll upload the Class 487 W&C Stock version 2.1 as well).

There are three versions of 1972 Tube Stock:

London Underground 1972 MKII Tube Stock (file id 33493)
London Underground 1972 Tube Stock (Refurbished) (file id 33080)

As far as I'm aware there are no problems.

I may do the Class 487 in BR Green livery in the near future.

When I first done the Class 487 unit back in 2009, there was the lack of photos of the Class 487 in BR Green at the time. Basically it is the same as the BR Blue version except the colour was green and the numbers were yellow.

I'm still around, though very little has happened around the MSTS community, but this does not stop from doing MSTS projects completely.

I have just uploaded 7 contents to the TSSH File Library just recently. There are:
British Rail D8900 & D8915 (based on Lima Shunter from the model railway market in the 1970s)
British Rail Class 210 DEMU
British Rail Class 312 - 312783
London Underground 1972 Tube Stock MK1
London Underground 1972 Tube Stock MK11
London Underground 1972 Tube Stock Refurbished
London Underground 1992 Tube Stock

So far, none of the above contents require cabview and sounds to be downloaded separately.

The Cabs and Sounds for the Class 210, however, have been re-aliased to Series 2000 cabview, and Dash 9 sounds and horn from the Class 50, rather than using the Class 455 Cabview and HST sounds that the unit used at UKTS.

If the suitable Cabview and Sounds are uploaded to TSSH, then I shall then update the Class 210 units.

Also, we have something new taking place in the workshop - the Class 387 Electrostar EMU. I still need to figure out the suitable cabview for the Class 387 (my Class 375, 376, 377 and 378 units currently available at UKTS uses Electrostar Cabview). Either Electrostar Cabview, Class 171 cabview or just stick with Series 7000 cabview if all else fails!

I'll post more developments as it happens.

Hi folks,

Thameslink Class 387 has just been completed!

I had rebuilt the Class 377 TSM model to become the Class 387, which involved changing the interior, adding bits and bobs, changed some texture mapping, etc. and the rebuild took some six or so weeks from start of conversion to finishing the Class 387 model.

The acceleration of the Class 387 have also been tweaked to allow 110 mph running, so the 8 car unit can now do 0-60 in 27 seconds, and reaches 100 mph in 1 minute and 37 seconds, and finally 110 mph in 2 minutes and 13 seconds.

The braking is the same as my previous Electrostars. The physics overall have no problems while the model was under test on the London South Coast stopping at all stations between Brighton and Norwood Junction. The model has also been tested on the Farringdon Extension, thus testing my skill for perfection!

Anyway, here is the first pics of Thameslink Class 387:










You may or may not have noticed the low-level high-intensity light at the front and rear of the train, as well as Pantograph high-intensity light on the PTSO vehicle. This is what the Class 387s have in real life, as well as the Class 379 and Class 377/7 units that have built earlier.

The light on the pantograph high-intensity light on the PTSO vehicle will light up on the AC versions. I had attempted to add a sphere of light to shine on the pantograph (which it would be cool), but it MSTS crashed (possibly MSTS limitations does not allow it)!

The Class 387 units will be using the Adtranz Electrostar Cabview available from UKTrainSim for now. I've spoken to Dave Babb if that's possible if I host the Adtranz Electrostar Cabview on TSSH, but still waiting on a reply, whether if that would be allowed or not.

The Thameslink Class 387 will be hosted at UKTS and TSSH in the next few days.

Hi Folks

We have another train coming soon to UKtrainSim and TSSH, this time it's the Eurostar e320 Class 374:




















It is actually a reskin and conversion of the freeware Class 390 model which has taken me a month to complete. However, it does go up to 320 km/h (200mph), and braking is sufficient enough to bring the train from high-speed running to a stop in about a minute, better than Chris Trains Eurostar Class 373 model.

It has been tested in both MSTS and Open Rails without problems. However, running in Open Rails does require operating the throttle gently, otherwise the train would slip with annoying buzzer sound and the tractive effect would be greatly reduced! Another way to overcome this problem is the use of continuous sanding, and the train could run full throttle this way without problems. Another problem encountered in Open Rails is that the windows in the passenger view are not transparent. Unfortunately, there is no solution to overcome this problem. As a result, the passenger view is intended for use in MSTS.

Other than that, a not too bad looking model, and this would be a good addition to The Tunnel route, and fits well at London St. Pancras on the EB: Midland Mainline route.

Yes, it is British Railways D8900 diesel locomotive, and it has an updated shape and textures, plus new cabview.
We will also have D8915 in BR Blue livery. All I need to do now is package before uploading to UKTrainSim and TSSH.

BR D8900 and D8915 v2.0 now available from UKTrainSim and TSSH file library.

This version now includes it's custom cabview, and has a night cabview if you run the locomotives in MSTSbin and Open Rails.

The locomotives are also Open Rails optimised as they have been tested in Open Rails without any problems.

I have produced a reverse cabview and lights, initially for my own purposes but if you're interested I can send them to you for inclusion in a possible future update.

As far as BR is concerned, they are fictitious locos, so may be used wherever, and for whatever purpose, you like
The nearest "real" loco is the Class 17, which has two 4-wheel bogies (Bo-Bo).  I believe a version of  "8900" was also produced (by Lima) with two bogies.

A set of Class 17 (Claytons) locos was available from the producers of the ELR and a green one is available from UKTS as file ID 1444 and trainsim.com

The locomotives are indeed fictitious. The BR Green version (D8900) would be from the 1960s, and the BR Blue version (D8915) would be from around the late 1960s (as it is in early BR Blue Livery). The locomotives can be set anywhere during the 1960s to 1970s period, however D8915 in early BR Blue Livery was in service as late as 1975 as it can be seen in the 1975 Lima Catalogue. Perhaps one or both locomotives could be preserved at Crosby Valley Railway.

As you said Ged, the D8900 (and also D8915) that has two bogies produced by Lima are for the N Gauge market (this is also mentioned in the installation program).

Nice loco but shouldn't the green one have red bufferbeams and buffers?
I did a quicky repaint and also gave it a two tone livery with a lime green cab top.
I also changed the horn to use the class 50 sound

I think the loco would be too heavy for a 4wheeler. Better with bogies.
Also the hoods would look better if slimmer. \Lima made them to fit an existing chassis.

I built a similar freelance loco in the same style but never finished it.
I have always liked the 900s but I I'm glad I didn't have to work with them. They boiled water faster than the Jumbos they replaced.

The D8900 locomotive in BR Green livery in Lima HO gauge model form never carried the red buffer beam, but it did on the N gauge version.

That was the way the HO gauge model was modelled back then, having 0-4-0 wheel arrangement, larger hoods, etc.

I plan to do the Borawian Railways version later on, probably with Bo-Bo bogies
Anyway, your version looks nice. I take this is on the SCP route?
