“This is designed as nothing more than a loco testing area so that people can try out locos they are working on with a long enough stretch of track to test them properly with run round facilities so that they can go backwards (checking those front couplings work).
With no signalling there will not be any other trains out there nor will there be the possibility to take a wrong turning as the route only goes one way. All points are manual in order to allow people to change points they want to and spend as little or as much time as they want to on an activity (very handy for the shunting activities based on the yard).”
