the Hoosier Line (Manon)
Hello all,for a long time I've wanted at least one "Yankee" Route,I have in the past downloaded a few of the smaller ones, but did not find them to be much "FUN" so to speak.
However this Route does attract me,but I do not understand whether or not I could actually use it.The bit I don't understand is not how to actually get it (TS.com) and I assume it may come as one rather large download ?.
But what I don't understand at all that it requires 3DTrains Scaleroad 1.77 to run,I know you have to join the Forum to obtain it,but it then goes on to say--
" Scalerail is NOT compatible with other Track Systems including MSTS Deafault !!!!
Any advice gratefully received,(or any pointers to another "easy" to download American route) Regards....Neanderthal

Hi Roger,
I think you mean the Monon line?
If you select to download the file from trainsim.com, all it does is direct you to this site : http://mononrr.com/downloads/route/monon-route-download.htm so you might be better going directly to it. The site gives full instructions regarding downloading of the several files which make up the route.
The warning regarding ScaleRail can be ignored because this route uses ScaleRoad from the 3DTrains site, NOT ScaleRail!!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: the Hoosier Line (Manon)
Hello Ged,as usual I'm lost,On the 3DTs site it appears that Scaleroad is for railworks, and that Scalerail includes scaleroad for MSTS,or am I reading it wrong ?
Yes the Route was Monon,I confused the name with "Manon" which is a Ballet.

Hi Roger.
I downloaded Scalerail/road for MSTS friom 3D Trains ages ago, you can install them without fear as it won't mess up your MSTS, it is no different than installing Xtracks and NewRoads, which just add the extra track and road shapes to your MSTS.
