File Download Hosting

Was there a discussion on the possibility of TSSH hosting files for download, or is my memory playing tricks on me (again)? If there was such a discussion, I cannot find it.

We continue to consider the idea of file hosting, and it got some discussion HERE. However no decision has been made and as I understand it at this stage it must still be considered to be at a very preliminary stage, and it still needs to be decided whether there is sufficient interest and of course content to justify a hosting site. I must stress that these comments are my own and do not reflect the opinion of the rest of the admin staff,
From a personal perspective I am still considering using Dropbox for my LYR wagons. I have the free version and I have used it successfully for passing sizeable files to both Bob and Justin. My understanding is that it is not necessary to have Dropbox on your computer, as I merely supply the link to the file/folder via your email address.

That is true. I use it to send my route to the testing team.
