Locomotive and Multiple Unit Class Top 10
Hi everyone!
I've often been asked what my favourite class of locomotive and multiple unit is.
As I can never choose I've decided to put a list of my top 10 up.
1: Southern Railway West Country and Battle of Britain Class 4-6-2 (Especially the 'Spam Can' variety).
2: London North Eastern Railway Class A4 4-6-2.
3: British Rail Class 55 'Deltics'.
4: British Railways Class 8P No 71000 Duke of Gloucester.
5: Class 221 Super Voyagers.
6: British Rail Class 91 Bo-Bo.
7: British Rail Class 43 HST.
8: British Rail Class 52 'Western'.
9: London North Eastern Railway Class B17 4-6-0.
10: Great Western Railway King Class 4-6-0.
I would also like to find out what anyone else's top 10 is.
I don't know if this is the right place for this sort of thing so any of the Footplate Crew feel free to move to a better location.
Thanks I look forward to your responses.

Quite a few good choices there!
Q1s (Coffee Pots) are also among my favourites too, although they didn't make the cut.

For me a tough one.
1) LNER A4's (being a LNER Man was a must)
2) LNER Q6 (NER T2's)
3) MN's, WC's & BOB's in all forms
4) Standard 4 Tanks and Moguls
5) LMS Black 5
6) LHJC tanks (Lambton tanks)/SR USA tanks
7) Ivatt class 2's (Micky mouse class)
8)GWR Manor/Castle class
9) GWR Panniers (Squeakers I call them if you have the Svr add-on for msts and run loco's 7714 or 5764 you'll hear why around 10-15mph mark)
10) LMS Princess royal class/ Duchess class (Un-streamlined only)
Two that are my favourite's that didn't make the top 10 are the
Lner N2 class and the Midland 4F
Favourite Multiple unit is the 121 Bubble Car and For a diesel would be the 37 both no where near my top ten. I put them in as they are in my favourites for those types.
