Re: Making Tracks Discussion
Excellent stuff and it's always good to see there's a bit of life in the old lady yet. Thanks for sharing, and I assume that we might see these uploaded to TSSH.

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
And these would be suitable for my 317 3d cab, available on the downloads page.

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
I know that there has been quite a gap between releases but I am happy to announce this set:
British Railways Class 313 livery add-ons.
Also available is a patch that corrects the positioning of the original files so that when flipped the units line up correctly.
Available now through the TSSH Download site: https://tsshonline.weebly.com/
Regards,
Justin

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
It's been a while since anyone posted in this topic.
I noticed in the 150 pack there were a couple of erroneous textures. The London Midland (ex Central) 150 had the wrong file for one of the carriages. Also the NWM 150 had the wrong texture for the ends. I sent corrections to Justin a week ago, so hopefully he'll post them when he finds the time.
I'm just curious about the Turbostar Class 170s. There were pictures of SWT, Central, and Hull Trains models on the old MT forums, but they were never released.

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
Hi,
I'm not aware of any Class 170s being issued by Making Tracks. I think EuropeanBahn included at least one on one of their routes and, of course, several were available from UKTS, which should now be included in the trainsim.com library.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
Hi Ged
Three were part of the Greater Eastern release. An Anglia one and two 'one' units.
On the TSSH website, Dave Babb's thumbnail shows the MT model version in Central Trains and Hull Trains, along with one more that looks like a 'one' unit.

Re: Making Tracks Discussion
Hi,
Apologies, and thanks for reminding me about Greater Eastern - I'd forgotten about that!
I've looked through all the patches I downloaded from Making Tracks and can't see one which includes alternative liveries for the Class 170s.
There are 'ONE' and 'Anglia' liveried versions in the Greater Eastern route. Can you indicate where you saw Dave's thumbnail as it might give a clue as to which patch includes the other versions, if they were released?
Cheers,
Ged

On the TSSH file library, every contributor has a thumbnail or icon. Dave's shows the aforementioned Turbostars, which AFAIK were never released
Re: Making Tracks Discussion
Hi All,
I can confirm that I have Harry's files and I have hopefully arranged initial secondary testings.
Now, I know things have been quite regarding further Making Tracks add-ons.
I take full blame for this. My mental health has not been the best for quite some time.
However, I made inroads today into one of the stalled projects and found that I have not forgotten how to any of the work, which is a positive. The only thing that I had forgotten is how much work is involved taking someone else’s work, reverse engineering it and then expanding on it. The carriage project which I have decided to pick up and work on involves multiple liveries that were missing. I have the coaches in one livery as made, but I need to create a blank base file and base colour textures to then build up the coaches. I have just done the first one (and got it right first go) and found that it took me a few hours to do. Hopefully the next few coaches will speed up as I can now use certain elements off this first coach on the next ones, and the more of this that I do I will come back up to speed.
I do hope that this will be a strong and positive re-start! After all I have been doing this for near 23 years….
Regards,
Justin

We've all said it before, and it can never be repeated too often, your health and well being should ALWAYS come first!
