I'm Back (Just)

Hi all.

Sorry for my absence for the last few days or so, been having a few computer problems this last week or so, My display went kaput altogether, so I replaced the graphics card with a spare one I had but that didn't fix it, it turns out that the monitor was knackered so I had to get a new one, display is up and running now but windows is spitting its dummy out now, will have to fix that before I can get back to normal service again, the arthritis is swollen and painful still so everything is taking twice as long to do.

I was hoping to be able to upload some more snap together scenery items for the June MSTS whatsit but that is looking unlikely now as both MSTS and TSM are refusing to work with windows in its current state, just getting online takes a month of sundays, but at least I can now get back online again. hopefully it won't be too long before normal service is resumed.

Sorry to hear that Mark. Hope to have you back into full service again soon!
If you have any IT problems in future, please let me know as I may beable to help.

Concentrate on your own well being first and MSTS second. Remember that MSTS June 2013 can easily extend beyond as we all hope it does.

Welcome home,I'm sure we all know (or can imagine ) just how painful Arthritis can be,I've got it in my Spine, Hip & Fingers so can commiserate with you.As I've found out you must look after yourself first,the Old Girl (MSTS) will be here waiting for you, all the best,Roger.

I echo the thoughts of the previous posters and welcome back hope you and the pc are both in a better state soon!

And don't worry about MSTS June. Whenever you contribute is fine, do not hurry. More important things than MSTS... apparently!

Had another sleepless night with the pain, but it is wearing off a bit now, fingers crossed it won't so bad tonight.

Hi All.

Sorry I have been away for the last month, been having problems, but back on line now via a mobile dongle (no phone line/broadband available where I'm staying at the moment) which is painfully slow compared to broadband, but at least I have access to the web again.

Tried to post the other day but chrome was running too slow and I timed out, got Safari up and running now which works much faster with the dongle connection.

So sorry to hear - Hope your health has improved. I was getting really worried and concerned for your well-being... I sent a message to Justin to see if had heard anything......
Anyway glad ur okay and hope you're up and running to mainline standard again soon!
