Hi John,
Some really nice looking locomotives there,I really like the A2 and the Clan Class loco's,may be you could name 1 of the Clans Hengist, which is being built at the Swanage Railway.
The second batch of Clans were originally meant to go to the Southern Region, but the order was cancelled before any were built.
Which version of the A2 are you making, the Thompson or Peppercorn version?
Thanks for the new loco's it always nice to see new models,it's thanks to the model and route makers that keeps MSTS going.

I can only echo Mike's words about the route and model makers, and in particular your own fine efforts.
Thank you, Alec

Mike,
Going off where the cylinders sit, that would be a Peppercorn A2 in the pictures.
The Thompson A2's had their cylinders futher back behind the front bogie.

Hi Justin,
Thanks for the information re the A2's,I have been looking at one of my books and the A2's are a interesting class of loco's 60501-6 are rebuilt P2 loco's by Thompson, they were rebuilt in 1943 and became A2\2.
The batch built in 1944 A2\1, had V2 boilers. numbered 60507-10,only 4 were constructed
