Unseen error
I don’t know about you but in one of the old log files I found for a conversion failure of a shape it mentioned this error:17/10/15/1/0/0. This is something I haven’t seen before and though I’ve played MSTS for a number of years I have never developed for it. Is there any way to overcome this error and if so could someone explain? Thanks

Hi SP1900,
You'll have to give us a lot more information!!
What software are you referring to? What shape? What log files?
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Unseen error
So this 1959 stock train I found I wanted to have a go at modifying it just to understand how things work. So I used shape converter to try to convert it to a format suitable for 3D modelling but it either crashes or comes up with this error. If there is any way you can help Id greatly appreciate it.
Cheers
Sachin

Re: Unseen error
Hi Sachin,
I think only the author can help you!
This tread was created in 2011 : https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showthread.php?299169-Shape-Converter-Error
which mentions your error. The last post is from 2012, where the link to the author's site is given, but this error still seems to be uncorrected.
The same version of the program is available from another site, which I'd rather not publicise, but you could try Googling ShapeConverter!!
For information : The 1959 stock you're using was created using 3DC in 2003 by Richard Scott - but you should know this if you've got the download!! - so he's the man to contact, if you're lucky
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Unseen error
Thanks so much!
The problem is: that I got this off a friend who sent it to me after I couldn’t find it on the web. It didn’t come with any readme.txt files and so I have no idea how to contact this guy. If you know of any way to contact him please let me know!
Thanks!
Sachin

Re: Unseen error
Hi Sachin,
The 1959 stock is available from UKTS as file ID 5568.
My last contact with Richard was in February 2015, but even then, he had moved over to TS20xx and was building stock for that sim. You may be able to contact him by PM on UKTS, his user name is RichardScott.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Unseen error
Thanks so much for your help!
The strange thing is: I have managed to successfully convert the Trailer car but not the DM cars.
I will try to get in contact with a Richard and see if he can help me fix the problem
Thanks ever so much!
