Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
I've made a start on a 7T Van for LNWR - Diagram 32. This is not included in Brian's wagon upload. I'm also looking to create Diagrams 22 (Cattle Wagon), 53 (Coal wagon), 64 (Loco Coal Wagon) and 84 (Open Goods). I had hoped to post a screenshot but for some reason I can't get it to upload?

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Here is what I hope is the final version of the Diagram 32 with LNWR lettering.
I shall also produce a version with the illiterate symbol. I should point out that these wagons only had one set of doors located on the opposite side of this formation, and as this has just left Duddesdon Goods Shed on the original Black Country route would have have made unloading somewhat difficult!
I have also produced some sketches for a Diagram 84 Open Wagon. I believe that Volume 3 of the LNWR Society Wagon books may be available in the spring of next year, which should allow me to produce some coal and loco coal wagons. In the short term I hope to get a copy of the 1903 LNWR Wagon Diagram book that may allow me to do some of those early? Rooting out information can really add to the enjoyment of our great hobby.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Just a brief update on activity in this area of the workshop. I was advised that that the handbrake should have been the other way round, and I have amended it to suit. I have also been gently admonished for referring to the "diamond" as an illiterate symbol when it was more akin to a logo for the early days of the railways. Whilst early railway workers were not totally uneducated the symbol did allow for a lack of literacy skills. I shall now move onto a Diagram 84 open wagon.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Just noticed the lettering is wrong.
The centre "arm" of the W should be full hight.
Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

Thanks for the comment, and yes I've amended the "W" in all 3 wagons.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Still not right.
The W should have a flat top.
Try these. I use them for most of my private owner wagons.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
I may or may not amend the lettering on the Diagram 103, but I shall continue to create virtual models that are representative rather than exact. If they do not meet some peoples' exacting standards then I can only suggest that they don't download any potential upload that I might make.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Here in the LNWR Wagon workshop the following wagons have been completed apart from final review and check including lettering:-
Diagram 32 = Van
Diagram 53 = Traffic Coal
Diagram 54 = Traffic Coal
Diagram 64 = Loco Coal
Diagram 64B = Loco Coal
Diagram 84 = Open
Diagram 103 = Open (Low)
I am considering the following once I have completed the 50ft arc roof corridor coaches:-
Diagram 4 = Open
Diagram 17A = Brake
Diagram 22 = Cattle
Diagram 87 = Van (Express)
I should point out that the coal wagons and brake vans are based on the 1903 LNWR Wagon Diagram Book and hence some details are best guesses. Once Volume 3 of the LNWR Wagon Books is published - possibly April/May this year - they can be revisited for any significant corrections.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Having finished the 50ft corridor coaches, I've developed the parts to make up the Diagram 87 express van. Livery is with LNWR only as per those built after 1914 - relevant to Brian's Black Country (LNWR) route. Once this had been put together I'll look at Diagram 22 (Large Cattle Van). I may not do Diagram 17A (Brake Van) until much later.

Re: Rufuskins' Workshop LNWR Wagons
Here's a screen shot of a rake of Diagram 22 Large Cattle Vans, which completes the initial batch of LNWR wagons I set myself to do.
I now need to go back through them and make any necessary tweaks. I intend to upload them as a single batch with LNWR markings, although I may look at amending textures later to include the earlier "diamond" logo.

This is another area I'm hoping to dabble in again, especially as Volume 3 of the LNWR Wagon Book series is due out soon!

The LNWR Wagon Pack at Version 1.0 has been removed and the LNWR Wagon Pack at Version 2.0 has been uploaded to UKTS only and should be available subject to approval.

Hi Alec,
A rather belated thank you for your marathon upload session!!
I see, for a very short time, you completely occupied the first page of UKTS downloads - quite an achievement
Well Done,
Cheers,
Ged
