Upgrading Woodhead route
I have just looked at the upgrade to the woodhead route.
I have just checked the .trk file in my V4 woodhead, and it says V4.00 in there, Does this mean I'll have to download the entire V4.01 route then the V4.02, & v4.03 patches, then download the entire V4.1 before I can install v4.2? if yes Then I'll probably not bother as my dongle only supports 5kb a sec download speed and it would take forever to download that lot.

Hi Mark,
The answer is, unfortunately for you, yes
The Info screens show what needs to be installed prior to adding v4.2. Note that the upgrade path is slightly different for the two versions (arial and non-arial).
Regarding your dongle speed, 5kb/s seems very slow! I'm not doubting you, but I have used a Vodaphone dongle before which gave me speeds of up to 3Mb/s. I know it depends on what coverage is like in your area. My current landline broadband runs at between 4 and 4.25Mb/s
Cheers,
Ged

Thanks Ged.
I'll use my premium membership to download some acts for the Glascar route.
