UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
It appears that Uktrainsim.com is down at the moment (at the time of writing as of 16:45), it is affecting all areas of Atomic Systems and nothing appears to be functioning.
Just letting you know.

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
Just to let you know that UKTrainsim.com is now back online, there has been a glitch that disables everything within Atomic Systems and has been solved.

Hi Andy,
Yes, I was using it when it went down at about 13:40 - it had come back before 14:58! There's no mention of either failure on the site!!

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
Hi
The site appears down as of 17:00 this evening.
May be the fact that Atomic Systems is going through series of glitches. It can have an impact on the train-sim project in some ways (and I do feel threatened to give up MSTS at times!).
I'm planning to send the files to a one of the user tonight, though I'm doing the 1972 Tube Stock now...
Alistair Cowell
PS - I have started the thread over at UKTS.

Perhaps the forum couldn't cope with all the 'MSTS Hall of Fame' suggestions!
Not working for me either.

Hi, folks,
I too have a same problem. Looks like UKTrainSim isn't healthy at the minute.
I do get in to a panic when it comes to downtime.
I'm quite worried about UKTS at the minute, the site being quiet as well.

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
Hi Folks
Nobody was alone when UKTrainSim was down last night, and we were all in the same boat. The website was offline approximately between 19:25 and 20:00, and nobody has commented about what the problem was.
Another problem that lingered on for a while is the Download Count issue. Though everything is OK in this matter, the only problem is not getting to know how many each download is counted for! The Download Count issue has been there since 14th May 2014, and have yet to be solved.
With UKTrainSim site being quiet recently, it looks like that the site is becoming quite neglected, and people don't seem to be interested in train-sim at the moment. This might be understandable, as this might be due to the fact that we all have our lives and jobs to do, and that does explain the explanation.
As far as I know, UKTrainSim is currently working properly, albeit with Download Count issue. UKTrainsim downtime is yesterday, and it has been dealt with.

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
I'm not sure that we are in a position to make any statements about the state of UKTS, and I would prefer it if we avoided any such statements in the future. I hasten to add that comments that it isn't working are not a problem.
MSTS involvement has always been variable and as you quite rightly say there's more to life than just MSTS - but only just! SWMBO's bathroom refurbishment scheme has kept my MSTS time to a minimum just recently.

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
Don't mention decorating Alec, it just so happens that I will have to tackle the main bedroom shortly, it's new wallpaper and carpet time, after sixteen years, but one consolation, at my age, it shouldn't need doing again for another sixteen years, in which time if I'm still here, I'll be 86. Too risky to start climbing ladders me thinks!

The bathroom is now finished, although SWMBO keeps going in to stand and stare - very worrying as it might mean a change of mind!

Hi Folks,
UKTrainSim and Atomic Systems are currently down as of 01:10 on 18/10/2014.
With the Peterborough show taking place this weekend, it might be a weekend without UKTS.

Hi
I could not gain access to the forums about an hour ago, I was about to speak to him about regarding the Class 303 units.
Now we have to wait until the site is back up and running. I don't know when, Saturdays can be a quiet time for the train-sim community.
The Class 303 project can wait for now.
Cheers

Hi All,
It seems that the Open Rails site is suffering similarly - "Too many connections" - not surprising as I believe they use the same servers!
Probably a rush to get version 1.0??
Cheers,
Ged

Re: UKtrainsim and Atomic Systems DOWN
Hi
There is a possibility that Atomic Systems might not be restored this evening. Outage will probably continue into tomorrow. It is advised not to visit UKTS or anything Atomic Systems tonight.
I'm sure Pete will fix the site as soon as possible, byut Saturday night does seems to see very little MSTS activity, so he might be unable to fix the problem tonight.
So please do be patient and try to do something else for the meantime.
With the outage of Open Rails site as well, it has not been a great night for the train-sim community. This might be the weekend with out the train-sim community.
Once again, please be patient, and hopefully UKTS will be restored. Train-sim community would not continue without the UKTS site.
Cheers

Hi,
I seem to be having problems logging into the UKTS Forum - it's taken a dislike to my long-standing password
Has anyone else had the same problem? I'm reluctant to change the password as it may cause more trouble!
I've sent an email to the Board Administrator.
