Hello all, I've got myself into a fix again. I've d/l the above Route I've even managed to find all the Stock and installed it but I cannot get a Cabview for
TSEastrail BR 143 582.
.
To add to my trouble it also appears to have a cvf file though it gives you an option of Acela or a PT (something or other0. (could that mean you have to have Pro Trains maybe)
So being as I have an Acela in my defaults would it be easy to copy the Acela cvf into the above, or if you know of something more realistic ? I will of course though need the (easy) way of swapping them., Thank you Neanderthal
PS the loco is tser BR 143 582.

Hi Roger,
I have found that loco in we11stockadd.zip but I can't find any reference to the Acela cabview in the documentation.
I accept that you may well have an updated version of the loco in which case, if it does suggest the Acela cabview, you can do the following :
1. Copy the contents of the Acela cabview folder into the tser143582/Cabview folder.
2. Open the tser143582.eng file in NotePad and find the 'Cabview' line (in the lower part of the file)
3. Replace the line CabView ( tser143582.cvf ) with Cabview ( Acela.cvf )
In my copy, there is a second .eng file - tser143582p1.eng. If you have it, do exactly the same to change its Cabview line.
I suggest that, to edit the file, you do not use WordPad or Microsoft Word. NotePad or any other Unicode-aware text editor (eg NotePad++ or ConText) are fine.
Cheers,
Ged

Hi Roger,
That's odd! Mine seems to be the same version as yours (-5) but I certainly don't see that screen!! There's no instruction in mine for how to change the default cabview - maybe there is in yours?
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Wupper 11
Maybe they're different for some reason Ged, it's just a shame there was no " actual" cabview of its own. It's always a bit of a pain when your Speedo reads "mph" when the Sim is in "Km per hour".
Still I mustn't complain as I wasn't really expecting it to run in Open Rails. ..Many Thanks Roger
