Well there is some good news to share, Darwin has just sent through some new coaches for OpenRails (Carriages for LYR Heartland.zip) as well as a new engine (LMS 5XP 5547.zip). Both are available from his page on TSSHFH now!

Available soon will be -

LMS 3P 2-6-2T 13 - another reskin of Martin Pope's model. Number 13 was based at Newton Heath so is intended for LYR Heartland route.

SR W class 2-6-4T - pack includes RHD number 1914 and LHD number 1919. This locos were used for fast freight in the London area.

SR Z class 0-8-0T heavy shunting locomotive number 951.

Looking forward to them. There have been some great models made over the past five years by various builders.

Is there any update on those LMS Compound reskins from several years ago?

The Compounds will come soon.

I had been waiting for OR physics. I think I will release them for now as two cylinder simples of similar power. Then if later OR allows a proper model of the 3-cylinder compound system I will update the physics.

I have just uploaded the new LHD Fowler cabview from Darwin.

Darwin has just release 2 new LMS exLYR 0-6-0 engine packs as well as updates for the LYR Aspinall Cabview and M7 sounds.

The sounds for the LYR locos are currently the SR M7 sounds with LYR whistles and tender sounds added. Roger is working on a new sound set based on recordings of preserved LYR locos. I will update the locos and upload the sound set when this is ready.

A nice extra with Roger's sound sets - Jubilee, Patriot, Crab, Schools and M7 is the availability of long and short whistles. Space bar (press and hold) gives you a long whistle, whilst the 'B' key gives you a short whistle.
