Hi All,
The other day, I came across an excellent new video (Jan 2020) of the run from Leeds to Derby. I particularly wanted to see my home town station (Derby Midland), but hardly recognised it!!

The whole video runs for 1 hour 23 minutes, but if you can't spare that time, leaving Sheffield is at 52m 50s and leaving Chesterfield is at 1h:04m:40s . Included are several interesting historical and geographical on-screen notes.

Yes Don Coffey's videos are excellent. He has posted quite a few based around the Manchester area plus all the way up to Carlisle and the North Wales Coast.

I assume he is either a driver or instructor to get that kind of access and his knowledge of the routes and surrounding areas is also excellent.

His videos are really good, not only for the cab rides but for the info as well, he is a driver for Trans-Pennine express, usually driving class 185's, other routes and classes are sometimes driver friends from other companies such as Northern.

I am subscribed to his channel, and get notified of new releases, I watched the video above the other day when it was premièred, well worth keeping an eye out for.

I tend to watch them from the exercise bike, 40 mins at a time!
