I often run MSTS using Simple Controls, so that acceleration and braking and controlled by two keys. I can't find this option in Open Rails (V2.0). Does it exist?
I feel stupid asking he question as I have now been using MSTS for years but have only just installed OR.
I have to say that it looks very good, very smooth compared with MSTS in this laptop, though it will take a long time to get my head around some of the options.

No, there is no equivalent to the MSTS Simple Controls in Open Rails.

I have never used simple controls, but I think they would be appropriate for very modern trains which have a single lever for acceleration and braking. I wonder if Open Rails might be working on it.

Hi Jonathan,

Some of the modern DMUs and EMUs use a combined Throttle/Brake Control which also work well with OpenRails. Classes 165, 170, 465 and 466 are a few examples.
