Bogie Wagon Sounds
Can anyone recommend a bogie wagon sound file? I know that there is one associated with the Australian "Coals to Newcastle" route, but not sure how easily that can be downloaded - will have a further look later this afternoon. I suppose one could use the "ukbogiecoach" sounds?

Hi Alec,
There is a file available on thetrain.de called Oldwagsound.zip which might be suitable. When installed, it replaces "genpasswagmodern.sms" which should, of course, be backed up first! It is completely freeware and I can't see any problem if I offer to send you a copy if you don't use that site!!
Cheers,
Ged

I use the Aussie sounds for my own wagons but use the default genfreightwag for uploads so people don't have to go to another site to get the wagon running "straight out of the box".

Thanks Ged and Ian, but I might use Ian's approach in this instance.

Hi Alec,
The Australian bogie wagon sounds are easy enough to download from this page : http://www.coalstonewcastle.com.au/stock/sound/downloads/#007
Incidentally, the same page also contains a file for bogie passenger vehicles, which includes 4- and 6-wheel bogies.
Cheers.,
Ged

Re: Bogie Wagon Sounds
Thanks for the link Ged, and I have downloaded. My only concern is whether those few who might be interested would want to download/install this. Perhaps its one of those instances where I could include two sets of WAG files with alternative sounds?
