Hi,
I make no apology for showing another video of my favourite class of loco! This time doing a sterling job - the title says it all, except that I believe is was in August last year.
Towards the end of the clip, the wind noise took over, which is a shame
It's a great pity that only a relatively few people will now be able to experience this sort of performance for real!!
Cheers,
Ged

The Black 5's are a lovely loco! Not a great start to the video with the slipping as they seem to do more often than not and I caught one with 34046 on the back last year with the exact same thing... 44932 this time;
Cheers

Hi Andy,
After Lime Street station the gradient starts at 1 in 83 and then 1 in 93 for about a mile, through tunnels, so I think it's understandable that a loco with a heavy train will slip, occasionally!
Cheers,
Ged
