June and July are MSTS Months
Just for discussion at this point, but with June just over a month away, would anyone be interested in joining in again?
Same rule as before -- any MSTS content!
If there's interest, I'll get the threads on here and UKTS up and running at the beginning of May.
Last year was such a success and I've never seen such a variety of content as I did then and I'd love if those of us still using the sim could do it all over again.

You certainly have my support, and I may try and actually create something of my own - well actually finish one of my LYR wagon attempts - for upload.

I guessed we would see this again!!
I will endeavour to get another Merchant Navy Pack (Pack 2) uploaded for June! Also I will try to get some more work done to the 144 Centre Car.

Hi Niall,
It sounds a good idea to me; I'm sure I'll have an activity or two. Given sufficient notice they could even be route specific, provided I have that route.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Having thought about it I believe the words of this song are appropriate
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS6eUIpwwds
"I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want MSTS, want MSTS"
Just remember I'm at an age where I have decided that I refuse to take life too seriously - Niall you don't need to worry about me!

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Hi there,
I have uploaded everything I have for Ester which I thought was pretty successful as it coincided a bit with MEP_Steam. I may struggle to upload anything for a couple of months while I am back in the workshop.

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Mickrik, there's no obligation whatsoever, you do sterling work all year round.
Like last time, we'd never force anyone to take part.
Stephen, if you want to do acts, that's great.
As for what route, go with the heart or head. It could be your favourite route, it could be one you've never got round to writing something for. Whatever you want to do.
That's what I liked a lot about last year, there was something for everybody.

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
And I feel there will be a great load of stuff for this year! I so need to get my 2nd act for Dorset Coast tested and uploaded and checked and some changes made;
Here is what I have put over on UKTS;
"Thankyou to both Ian and Mike and infact anyone whom uploads any models, Routes or anything else. without all the banter and fun with creating such good stuff for MSTS I couldn't imagine that this Sim would have survived! Thank lord it has! I am very proud to be a part of this and the huge community! We just need to make MSTS as stronger as the other said Sim!
I have just finished another 4 for my 2nd pack of Merchant Navies.... Struggling with a few of them though! Got another 2 to do for this second pack!
Cheers
Andy"

It goes to show that I feel MSTS is growing strength to strength!!
Lets hope I and we are not wrong!
I will endeavour to post the Merchant Navies I have done tomorrow! I have a busy week next week researching into Business Plans etc as I am branching out on my own into the world of repairs.... I have a meeting booked for a couple of weeks time to put this across. So although I will be on here; I will be busy writing and planning some things.....
Cheers

Hey there,
I have just thought of something I could do for June and it will be very appropriate for 2014.
I will keep it under wraps for a little while or there will be no pleasant surprise for you.

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
I am suddenly having second thoughts and wondering if July - like Mike suggested - would be better.
The reason being purely personal in that with work and holiday, I'm now going to be away for a few weeks and that would impact any chance of contributing. Plus, I still haven't got my old PC fixed and that's got all my unfinished work on it (bar the route). In July, I'm only away for a few days and would have much more time to contribute.
I would like to know the opinions of those who would contribute whether you have a preference for June or July, or don't mind?
Niall

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Hi Niall,
I don't mind either way.... July will give me more time to finish the Nameplates for these 3 remaining Bulleids that I have just acquired the Black and White photos off from Nigel Kedall who is a great photographer and has kindly sent them to me. They will take some painting etc......
Also with the fact that I am starting up my own IT business in between here at http://www.ac-itrepairs.co.uk and trying to sort out funding and meeting etc.... Please do have a look. Any comments also gratefully received.
Best Wishes
Thanks
Andy

Hi Niall,
It makes very little difference to me as well, July will give more time for an extra activity or two. At the moment I'm back on activities for the Briscard SS version using only steam and possibly the Blue Pullman.
Andy, good luck with your new venture.
Regards,
Stephen

In all honesty all months should be MSTS months, but July is fine with me. I have amended the banner to suit.

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
I think it should be 'June & July is MSTS Month' rather than waiting for me to upload this pack of 13 Merchant Navies in 6 weeks time.....
I think the banner should reflect these 2 months. It will give people scope to upload and plenty of time in doing so.
Cheers

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Hi all,
I'll try and get some acts uploaded for the msts months but I'm not promising anything. I only have one tester at present. I'm Just going to contribute as I can.
I do apologise if I have to miss out on msts months like I did last year due to lack of testers.

June & July is MSTS Month'
How about some MEP Activities that use the Stock on the DVD??? Please.
Art. An older one.
Re: June and July are MSTS Months
I note that over on UKTS there appears to be about 37 items uploaded so far for June and July 2014. Whilst not as high as previous events it looks good so far. I must apologise for not being able to contribute this time round, but my work on the outstanding FG DMUs - namely Class 108 - has been seriously delayed by my current LYR TSM work. In addition the binnification of the outstanding uploaded FG DMUs has also been put back. I shall attempt to get these out sometime before the end of the year - perhaps as part of a second "12 Days of MSTS"?
Apart from that let me offer thanks to those who have contributed to the current event.

Re: June and July are MSTS Months
Hi all,
I have one more activity nearly finished, like some of the others it is for the BrisCard SS Route. With a bit of luck I might get 1 or even 2 done for SCP depending on how everything else works out.
Regards,
Stephen

I would like to apologise for not being able to contribute this time around.
I had planned to but never expected the route would get to such an advanced stage that it makes sense to concentrate on getting it over the finishing line.
