Re: MEP
Hi Art,
Remember to change driving ends you MUST be stationary.
Check the Track Monitor which must show ACTUAL SPEED 0 and PROJECTED SPEED 0.
If you then allow a couple of seconds to pass before pressing 1 there shouldn't be a problem.
I have just tried this part of the activity without any problems.
Hope this helps,
Stephen

Re: MEP
Hi Art,
I haven't done these activities but looking at them in the Activity Editor at some point in Part 2 you again change locos once, if not twice, which is why Part 3 starts with a loco other than the Class 58.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi Art
If I remember rightly each part starts with you in a different cab, part 2 starts and finishes with you in the cab of the 58,then you start part 3 in the cab of the Deltic, which you stay in until the activity ends.

Hi Art,
The Mystery Tour is such a long activity it would take you all day to do it,that is why it was split into 3 sperate parts.

Hi Art,
Of course you can run Part 1 again, they are all seperate parts, they don't rely on each other, you could do part 1 skip part 2 and run part 3,if you wanted to.

Re: MEP
Hi Art,
When you finish part 2 you are still in the class 58,the activity should close, then go back to the main menu, scroll down to mystery tour part 3 click on that, when it's finished loading you will be sitting in the cab of the Deltic.
I have run the activity as it should be run,and now bored stiff,I have also tried it again but just running Part 3 alone and again it starts with you sitting in the Deltic cab,so the Deltic is definitely there.I have also made sure the Deltic is in the trainset folder which came with route and it is there. Can you check your trainset folder to make sure you have it
I am using the MEP+ disc version, not my old test version, which I'm using for testing the steam MES,so far water columns and water troughs have been put,as on long runs you will either have to fill up with water at a station stop,or using the water troughs, you will not be able to do Kings Cross to York with out topping up with water, just like the real railways.

Hello Art.
Think you might have misread Mikes post.
Assuming you have found your Deltic cab and you are on your way, You do not fill a Deltic with water, they dont like it!!!
When Mike referred to Water Columns and water troughs are for steam locos.
As Mike said, he is BETA testing the new MEP Steam addon.
Cheers
Andy
