Thanks for sharing Ben. If you have any of a Merchant Navy going some or a Rebuilt West Country, I'd really like to see.  Very Happy

Cheers

Andy

Ben,
You are an absolute diamond sharing those video clips of Bulleid's in all their glory!! Especially with my baby 35005 'Canadian Pacific'. I have to say the Merchant's compared to the W/C Pacifics sound a lot throat'ier..
Cheers
Andy
P.S - Please keep them coming as I will probably have missed a lot going by what you have posted for my enjoyment!!!  Very Happy  (Bulleid Pacific Man thru 'n' thru!)

Ben,
Good going with 825 with 8 Bogies that I counted on! Shame about the smoke! The fireman should have cracked the Blower open a tad more!
As for 34067 - A good video sequence for getting away and at a stand...
Cheers

Andy,

825 was climbing a 1 in 49 grade with a train of 8 bogies that has a weight of 9. The loco would be on full first or second regulator. The smoke is just the coal catching as the fireman shovels it into the firebox.
