Route Name = Westington V0.1b (Beta)

Westington V0.1b (Beta) Westin10

Route Author = Simon Banham (Expressboy1983)

Route Location = Fictional

Route Mileage = 7.5 miles

Route Era = Modern

Route Source = from UKTS downloading at UKTrainSim.

Additional files required to be installed =
XTracks, NewRoads

Route Description =
A fictional MSTS Route available to download as noted above.

“Westington is a Beta route for MSTS; and is seven and a half miles in length from Westington to Easton and serves a number of small communities.

There is one larger town on the route which is Quokka, a main interchange station for mainline services to other parts of the country. There is also a fair sized freight yard in Karleigh which distributes different freights to various places around the country including the odd few to Westington yard.

The route is set in the modern day and is based on nowhere in particular. There are quite a few gradient changes on the route, and some are quite steeper than others. The steepest is the climb from Easton to Karleigh after crossing the river.

A run round loop is available at Westington for loco hauled trains to run round and return to either the bay platforms at Quokka, or all the way back to Easton. The same is available at Quokka for short trips between Westington and Quokka. A locomotive holding siding is available at Easton where locos swap services.

The main servicing depot is located just west of Quokka, and there are also stabling sidings at Westington.

Also included is an entirely unfinished section of line which extends from Karleigh up to Southwick. There is no scenery on this part of the route and only speed limit signs, platforms and signals are in place.”

An activity and relevant stock are included with the downloaded file, and an additional activity can be downloaded from UKTS.
