Hi Paul.
If whatever you're looking for was available from UKTS, but is NOT available from the TSSH file library, I suggest you have a look on trainsim.com, using the original UKTS file ID.
Please come back if you need any more help
Cheers,
Ged

Re: bristol-brum search please?
Hi Paul,
The Bristol - Birmingham route is available from the TSSH library on Clive Heard's page, under 'Routes' which also includes Patch 1.
They are available from trainsim.com under the following file names :
UKTS_23340_Bris_Brum.zip
UKTS_23367_Bristol_Birmingham_Patch1.zip
A Patch 2 was also available from UKTS under file ID 23458 but it's not included in the TSSH or trainsim.com libraries - I'll check if it's essential.
Cheers,
Ged
EDIT : Patch 2 appears to have been withdrawn due to a completely erroneous readme! It doesn't seem to have been re-issued even though it fixed some missing files.

Paul, I think it was Tony (Tonya) that asked for your Email address ?
Roger
Re: bristol-brum search please?
Hi Paul,
Roger's right - I didn't ask for your email address!!
Regarding the 'shimmering' tracks - no, the patch doesn't fix that! You need to run my UKFS_Fix program to stop that!
You can get it from my (Slipperman12) page of the TSSH library or file ukfs-fix2.zip (file ID 84414) from trainsim.com
Cheers,
Ged

Re: bristol-brum search please?
Hi Paul,
Probably so, mate ukfs-fix2.zip is the Filename you should search for in trainsim.com. Or, you can search for 84414 in Description, on the same site. Both will show you the required download page.
Alternatively, on my page of the TSSH library, it's the 4th utility from the left on the top row (ukfs-fix2.zip )
If you are having problems using the 'new' search system in trainsim.com, or with this site's library, please come back - one of us will be able to help you.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: bristol-brum search please?
Paul, on trainsim.com go to 'files' then 'advanced' then 'search by file id'. I've just tried 84414 and it comes up okay.

Re: bristol-brum search please?
HI Paul,
Sorry you're still having problems with UKFS_Fix2, but nowhere in my instructions does it tell you to download comp.exe!!.
If both 'START' and 'Process' buttons are greyed out, then an error message, in red, should have been displayed at the bottom of the screen.
I've tried to make everything as clear as I can in the readme, but you do need to download recmp119.zip from trainsim.com (file ID 59632) and then to install comp.exe and recomp.exe following its own readme.
I did it this way because I couldn't contact Martyn T Griffin to get permission to include them in my download, but, I agree that it's not as simple as I would have liked!.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: bristol-brum search please?
Well Ged, thanks again for your help
I have downloaded recmp119.zip but unfortunately don't have a clue what to do with It i.e what to enter into the boxes, Source File and target File.
I don't remember having to do all this before, Last time I only seem to remember entering a file Into 1MSTS or Into Drive C:.
Many thanks
Paul.

Re: bristol-brum search please?
Hi Paul,
I'm sorry, but I don't understand "Last time I only seem to remember entering a file Into 1MSTS or Into Drive C:." What file?
If you have my UKFS_Fix instructions, you'll see :
After you've installed comp.exe, you MUST run it from its .exe file. When its screen is displayed, don't do anything else but press its 'EXIT' button.
After you've installed decomp.exe, you MUST run it from its .exe file. When its screen is displayed, don't do anything else but press its 'EXIT' button.
You need to do this so that Registry entries for comp.exe and decomp.exe are created. UKFS_Fix needs these Registry entries to tell it where comp.exe and decomp.exe are installed.
I hope this helps
Cheers,
Ged

If you have my UKFS_Fix instructions, you'll see :
I put it in red because it's the key to get everything working correctly, but I'll try to expand on it here :recmp119.zip should be downloaded from trainsim.com, then Comp and Decomp installed, carefully following the readme.
NOTE : If comp.exe and/or decomp.exe is not correctly installed, an error message will be displayed and UKFS-Fix will not continue.
IMPORTANT
After comp.exe and decomp.exe have been installed, they MUST each be run from their respective .exe file, then 'EXIT' pressed on their screen. If this is not done, their Registry entries will not be present and any attempt to run UKFS-Fix will fail.
After you've installed comp.exe, you MUST run it from its .exe file. When its screen is displayed, don't do anything else but press its 'EXIT' button.
