Freight run from Skipton
Hi Art,
Did the loco literally go through the freight wagons?if it did that looks like it is a bounding box problem with either the loco or the wagon.
Is it a activity you down loaded or one that came with the route,as bounding box problems can occur with older stock.
You could try amending the bounding box or replace the offending item/s with some thing newer.
Just also check that the loco couplings and the wagon couplings are the same, either all chain or all automatic

Re: Activity Prblem.
Or it's possible that you are trying to couple up to some scenery wagons, You wouldn't be the first to try and do that.

Hi Mike & Mark.
The trouble is there are no instructions just have to follow the RPs which i have done but when i reverse at this RP (as i should) there are then no RPs so i thimk it must be the Act??? Yes it is a downloaded one from UKTS should i try deleting and download it again??????

skipton freight
Hi Art,
If there are no instructions are you sure you have to pick up those trucks? maybe you are going to far along the track.
I haven't got the route and my premium membership has run out,so it will take ages to down load the activity and find out what stock is required.

Re: Activity Prblem.
Hi Art,
Can you please confirm the File ID of the activity you're trying to complete?
I ask because I can't find one of that name - the only one which may be closest is 17071 (90733 Freight from Skipton).
Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art,
That's good, mate!
This is what the readme says :

That's good, mate!
This is what the readme says :
As you can see, the points at Oakworth have to be manually changed! Obviously, you can use G/Shift + G to change the points instead of as shown.
A quite complicated run from Skipton to Haworth Sidings, dropping off your freight trucks at
Oakworth sidings, Once you've dropped your freight trucks off at Oakworth, you can procceed to
Haworth where your activity ends.
HOWEVER!
The points at Oakworth won't change by theirselves so you have to do it by clicking F8 and
then switching the arrows for the tracks.
The signal just before Oakworth Crossing has broken so you need to seek permission by clicking
the "TAB" button.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Activity Prblem.
Hi Art, I have installed this Activity and there are two errors in it.
One it has a Default Action Window that it ends at the Final Station stop, which of course you will never trigger as it is a Freight Activity.
The second is there is no Location Point in the siding that you end up in and so again it will not allow you to finish the Activity normally.
Early on there were a lot of Activities that have these faults in and they are easy to correct if you know how to use the MSTS Editor & Tools.
