Re: LNWR Non-corridor Carriage Uploads
Hi Alec,
Many thanks for these coaches
There's one problem!! As supplied, the 30ft coaches install into folder "LNWR_30ft_BSC_Coach_Set", but the consist provided specifies folder "LNWR_30ft_BSC_Set". It's easy enough to make copy of the folder and rename it, but I thought you'd want to know!
Also, although it might be due to some incorrect settings on my installation, there don't seem to be any external sounds of the coaches. I can appreciate that no 3-axle wagon sounds are available, but couldn't the 'normal' wagon sounds be used for the 4-wheelers?
Cheers,
Ged

Re: LNWR Non-corridor Carriage Uploads
I acknowledge the incorrectly named 30ft coach set, but I have used coach sounds Sound ( "GenPassWagSteam.sms" ) from the "global" SOUND folder for four and six wheeled carriages. This I considered to be the simplest compromise, and further my checker didn't flag up any sound problems. I have adopted the simplest solution by deleting the uploads until further notice. I appear incapable of providing acceptable models for which I can offer no defence. I suspect that this may once again appear a somewhat dramatic response but I don't feel that I can do anything else.
I am somewhat envious of those who can create quality models and routes, and perhaps with time I might aspire to the same levels. In the meantime I will restrict my efforts to my own personal use.

Hi Alec,
I'm sorry if I've caused you to remove your coaches from the library - that was definitely NOT my intention. They are excellent models and I'm impressed by what you've achieved in a relatively short time
I only mentioned the sounds because I didn't hear anything except a few MSTS clunks - it could be my settings, but, anyway, is no reason to withdraw your models. I hope you reconsider your decision!
Cheers,
Ged
