Fixed Model
Thanks Andy,
Cetainly did. We have a saying, The penny has dropped. The problem was the non planar polygons. I had the same with this model until I removed some terrain.

Re: The Oldham Loop Line.
Living on the Oldham Loop any model of the route is very welcome. When I look at the Foxline book "The Oldham Loop:Part 2" I can clearly see that the model is accurate, and I'm very impressed with the high standard of modelling and I look forward to seeing more pictures as you develope this line further.

Thanks Alec, I have used that book for most of the work in conjuction with The Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway society,s branchline book the Middleton branch by Tom Wray. I had to take some modelers license with the platform supports , but I am happy with the results. I have lived in Middleton all my life so I have a good knowledge of the area.

Re: The Oldham Loop Line.
Mmm . . . as I've only lived in Milnrow for some 28 years it's not yet clear whether I'm accepted as local! My wife has always lived in Milnrow so perhaps it's OK? I'm a member of the LYR Society and can strongly recommend their literature and help. As for modeller's licence my efforts would not be completed without it, and in fact compromise is one of the many useful tools available to me.
