Hi guys,

For a while now I'm been trying to decide whether I wanted to carry on with simming and now I've reached a decision.

A sudden family bereavement two days ago has knocked me for six and it's going to completely alter my life. I'm going to need a lot of time to get through this and so I'm officially mothballing future development of Glas-Car (ie 4.1/v5). I will not be passing any permissions on.

I'm really sorry for those who would have liked to have seen an extension, but I just don't have the heart right now to carry on.

I hope you can understand.

Maybe one day, things will settle down and I get the urge back, but if it doesn't I just want to say thanks to every single one of your who have helped in my various projects and to those who enjoyed the routes/stock/acts etc.

Please accept my sincere condolences at this very difficult time. I could of course utter any number of platitudes, but the only one that might be appropriate is “take each day as it comes, even take each hour as it comes”. It certainly helped me in similar situations.
I'm sure I speak for many in the train simulator community in saying THANK YOU for all that you have given us in both the Glasgow-Carlisle route and the various other items such as the 303's.
Please take care of yourself and we are always here to offer help in any way.

Over the years you have produced so much for MSTS which is still giving us a great deal of pleasure. I hope that one day you will feel able to carry on with Glas-Car but if you don't then you have left us with a true masterpiece.
