A question about the stock downloads(MT)

I was wondering about the rolling stock downloads on the download page:
1.are they free for all?
2.are the stock updated somehow to the Open Rails standard or are they as they where when released originally?

1. Yes, they are free for all.
2. (a) No, in general, they are not updated to Open Rails standard, but have been tested to run satisfactorily under OR.
2. (b) In several cases, the lights have been modified to better reflect how they appear in real-life.  Any obvious errors or malfunctions have been corrected.
3. You're very welcome

If you're running MSTS and have difficulties with any of the re-released stock, please report it and we'll do our best to help.
If you have any problems when using the stock under Open Rails, report them and one of the OR experts may well be able to help.
