Wessex Main Lines

Has anyone managed to produce an activity for this route ? All I get is "failed to save service" therefore I cannot even explore the route ! Thanks.

Hi MS302,

You must have a problem with either your route or computer installation. I and others have successfully produced activities for the Wessex Mainlines.

Can we have further information please? such as your computer set up which train simulator you are trying to use. With this others more knowledgeable than myself should be able to help you.

Hi MS302.

I have just downloaded the route and had a look in the Wessex route folder.

There are five missing folders -

Activities

Lo_tiles

Services

Traffic

Tutor

Create some empty folders with the above names inside the Wessex mainlines folder and try it again, MSTS will require at least the Activities, Services, & Traffic folders to save components of your activities to, but it won't do any harm to create the other two folders as well.

Sorry I cannot test it myself as MSTS, AE & RE no longer work on my computer, but the route works fine with OR in explore mode with the above folders added.
