Crikey its quite a while since I rode the Cambrian,so was quite surprised that there are still some modern Acts for it,this one from 2015

When on holiday in this part of Wales I've always enjoyed watching a train cross the Afon Mawddach to Barmouth after travelling on the Fairbourne Light Railway.

Mind you if the news reports I've seen are true people better hurry to travel on the latter as there are plans to abandon sea defence maintenance for the picturesque village, which could see it disappear into the sea eventually!

Yes indeed Alec,there's an awful lot of talk about the loss of Fairbourne,home values have dropped to £ Zero.Fairbourne won't be the last either I'm thinking !
