Re: Danny's models
Hi Danny,
I can see your screenshot of Lord Dowding in the library - have you pressed the 'Publish' button?
Cheers,
Ged

No Ged - I hadn't! Didn't realise that I had to do this.....
I think it might have gone through now - will someone please confirm?
Many Thanks for your help Ged - I'd virtually given up.....

Re: Danny's models
Hi Danny,
Apologies for the late reply
Thanks for the upload - I managed to download it - eventually!! It's a little trickier getting it from DropBox, what with all the pop-ups trying to persuade me to sign up!
Is the loco only intended for Open Rails? There's no indication, but MSTS reports that it's unable to add the loco to its world, although it seems to run OK in OR.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Danny's models
Hi Ged. My latest models are aimed at OR. In the case of Lord Dowding I think it's basically the same as the BoB's included with South East, except that it doesn't have a smokebox number plate and it hasn't been through Polymaster or had multiple passes through ShapeFix. This method was a bind and quite time-consuming.

Re: Danny's models
Hi Danny,
Thanks for the info.
34067 from the South East route, weighs in at 11745 polys @ 2000m whereas Lord Dowding registers 11859 polys, according to Shape Viewer. Not a big difference, but when the default Flying Scotsman is a maximum of 2764 polys @ 50m, it looks as if the South East locos are "on the brink"!!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Danny's models
Hi Danny
I hope you are well and it's good to see you are still active in MSTS.
It looks like one of these - http://www.bulleidlocos.org.uk/_oth/coCoElectric.aspx - to me, although I don't recall ever seeing one in real life.
Kind regards
Mike

Re: Danny's models
Hi Mike - glad to see that you're still around too. I'm still making the occasional model and have had these in mind for a while. If I can do this one OK then I'll add the various different liveries they carried. Many Thanks for the link which has provided some good additional information.

Re: Danny's models
Hi Mike,
Good to hear from you. Yes, Eric got in touch with me and I happened to mention that I'd just finished a Nelson....He said he would like to make an activity if I uploaded it. It was a bit of a struggle to do an MSTS model after 3 years or so, but eventually I got there. There will be 3 versions, the others being Lord Duncan and Lord Hawke.
