Re: anyone remember this
Hi Ben,
No, sorry, I don't!
According to Wikipedia, it was first broadcast in 1958, which was the year I started work. I don't even remember seeing much children's television in those days, except for The Magic Roundabout (1965)!!
Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ben,
I remember seeing it as a child! I loved it, but then I would as an Avid steam lover!

It rings a bell with me too.
Olliver Postgate was pretty prolific. I've got a documentary somewhere shown just after he died called "A Life in Small Films". I'll watch it one day.
Cheers

I'm pleased to say that I remember it well, as well as another of Oliver Postgate's productions "Noggin The Nog"!

Hey, fellas - you're all younger than me (except, maybe for Ian)!!
Thanks for the link Ian, but it's only a 3DC file .... but it's on UKTS as file ID 29 There's also a sounds patch at 11571.
Cheers,
Ged

No, I was too old at the time, but I am not too old now. I thoroughly enjoyed it and may well buy the DVD.
Thanks,
Roderic
