Re: Bulleid Coach Weights??
Can't find the source but they were plated 32T.
Coach weights were averaged for train weight calculations since it was not possible to give an accurate weight when loaded.
Both my own and BATS coaches are 32T. Restuarant cars with kitchens were 38T

Re: Bulleid Coach Weights??
Just had a quick trawl looking for Bullied Coaches, the only weight variation I have found, is the CK 5768 Belonging to the Bullied Society which
is shown as being 34 tons.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bulleid Coach Weights??
Thank you Andrew and Ian for the information. Bulleid CK 5768 is a 64' 6" corridor composite, whilst my CK is a 59' 0" corridor composite, and hence Ian's figure of 32T seems more appropriate on a pro rata basis. I shall therefore adopt that value both for the CK and BTK used in the 3 coach sets 963 to 980. I believe that these sets were typically used on Waterloo - West of England services.

Andy
Thanks for the links which are useful, but again they refer to the longer carriages. I've ordered a S/H book - Bulleid's SR Steam Passenger Stock by David Gould - as an additional reference for the 59 footers and any others I might choose to do. Bulleid's "Tavern" cars appeal in a quirky way.

Mmmm . . . they do say variety is the spice of life. If you look hard enough it's highly likely that much of the UK's railway stock will be modelled in MSTS - even if it's not always released.

Re: Bulleid Coach Weights??
I've got lots of unreleased models.
I tend to get distracted by other projects before I complete them.
The tavern cars were built as part of a pack of low window vent Bulleids but I could not find information on the set formations.
I'll get around to releasing them some day soon.

I can now confirm that the Bulleid 59ft CK unit weighs in at 33 tons, and the BTK unit weighs in at 32 tons.
