Hi Andy
34081 92 Squadron is still under repair at Wansford on the Nene Valley Railway.
it was first allocated to Ramsgate Depot and was there until October 1957 when it was transferred to Exmouth Junction,it was withdrawn from there in 1964

Hi Mike,
I know, as I tend to follow all Bulleid's as and when I can and it looks as though 34081 is coming on leaps and bounds as well.... http://www.34081.brushhouse.co.uk/overhaul-archive-6.html

Re: Something for Andy
A lovely photo and as you say a shame about the light loading obviously leaving Ilfracombe (A place I know so well)
They were known to do 6/7 & even 8 coaches up the bank from Ilfracombe...
The Rebuilt's couldn't do that stretch of the line as they were too heavy! Although my Dad whom was a Nine Elms engineman knows someone whom was based around the west Country and apparently a Converted W/C did travel down the line once or twice.....
I would love to see more with heavier loads if you have any?
Thanks once again.
Andy

But if any of you are on Facebok you should beable to see a few of me on Ivatt 41312 and on the Std 5 73096... I am still trying to find some photos of me on 34016 and 35005. I have many on 34007..

neanderthal wrote:Andy,I believe its Weymouth, but couldn't swear to it.!!!!!!!!!!!
It is Weymouth (34064) Standing in the old Platform 3, Now the site of a B&Q warehouse.
Only the excursion platforms originally 5 and 6 remain renumbered years ago to Platform 2 and 3, with a new platform 1 built to accommodate the trains from/to Bristol.
A class 444 will fit into it but it is a tight squeeze !
The bottom picture od unrebuilt 35028 is at Folkestone Junction.
