TWO QUESTIONS
As the title says I have two questions, please take into account that I am P.C. illiterate, even this question is typed (very slowly) with just two fingers.
1) Has anybody got the "Abbey Line" from (UKTS) to run?
2) Are there any UK underground route's out there available on Disc?
I know its probably something I'm doing wrong, but downloads never work for me .
Regards Neanderthal

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
I'll check to see what I did when preparing the Route Directory(RD) entry for Abbey Road. I'll also check on LUL routes on my back up HDs - there should be 3, namely Piccadilly, Northern and District. Again I can't quite remember what I did for the RD?

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Hi Neanderthal, I got the Abbey Line working without any problems, I didn't like the train used in the acts so
I changed it for a better but similar one.
The Abbey Line which is single track covers the run from Watford Junction to St. Albans Abbey and all the
Activities cover the run up and back and means you are the only train using the track.

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Hello Bob,nice to hear from you,but I must have a bigger problem than I thought.I've Unstored every thing in Train store and gone into Msts Routes, opened Abbey Line folder and there are are No ACT files, just an empty activity file.So it looks like my downloading/installing skills have not improved.O well another one to try and uninstall !!!!!

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Hi Roger,
You're NOT going mad!!
There are no activities in the route as downloaded - there is only a 0.txt file in the folder.
There are two activities to be downloaded separately.
Incidentally, the image shown on the Abbey Line download page appears to be VERY misleading! It is for a pack of scenarios using the Class 08 on the Doncaster Works route on that other sim!!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Thanks for that Ged,I think its safest that I just leave it where it is other than try to take it out, thats a disaster waiting to happen,Cheers Roger.

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Hi Roger, I've just checked my Routes Activities Download folder for the Abbey Line and there are two
Files that will provide some Activities for the Route, File ID 25080 and File ID 25137.

Re: TWO QUESTIONS
Hi Roger,
The Abbey Line runs from Watford Junc to St Albans, most of the day the trains just shuttle back wards and forwards along the route.
There were 2 trains in the morning and 2 in the evening that ran through to Euston,I think these days London Midland Run the route using Deserio Overhead stock.
The best way to run the route is through Trainstore explore mode, unless you feel confident to down load the activities for it.
If you are interested Just Trains do a London Underground Sim of the circle line, you can either buy it as a down load or boxed set, cost £21.99,or from the CD ordering page for £25.00.
None of the Underground routes in the library are available on CD\DVD.
