TGV 4505 problem
So, recently I decided to download LGVMed3.0 once again to play around with some TGVs.
One in particular that I found was this one from the ActivitySimulatorWorld website, number 4505. This is how it is supposed to look: https://www.activitysimulatorworld.net/Les%20automotrices%20photos/tgvreseauofficielwd2.jpg
However, these screenshots are the one on my PC. It shows up like this in both the simulator and shape viewer. I can't find any reference to a patch that fixed this issue, and I believe I followed the (French) instructions exactly. Did anyone else ever experience this problem?

Re: TGV 4505 problem
Hi Harry,
I know you've posted in an MSTS Forum, but are you running the activity in MSTS or Open Rails?
I'm not able to find the activity on the ASW site, but that train seems to be only suitable for use with Open Rails.
If you're running OR, the log file should indicate any missing textures.
More information would be helpful, eg links for the activity and the train
Cheers,
Ged

Re: TGV 4505 problem
I am running it in MSTS. This was explore mode, not an activity.
The reskin was released in 2006, which pre-dates OpenRails by a decade at least. It requires the JustTrains TGV Pack as a base, specifically TGV 531. Other than the erroneous texture for the front windscreen it looks much better than the original release by JustTrains.

Re: TGV 4505 problem
Hi Harry,
You might like to know that I get exactly the same windshield problem as you!
I have the Just Trains TGV pack and followed the instructions in the 4505 download.
One problem is that one of the instructions is to open the original .eng file, and, on line 775, change "TGV Réseau" to "TGV Réseau Tricourant 4505". There is NO line 775 in the JT TGV_531_V1 .eng file (the last line is 584).
I suggest that the JT version is a very early one and 4505 requires a later version. I can't find one on the ASW site and I haven't (yet) found one in my archives!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: TGV 4505 problem
Hi Harry,
I think I might have found the problem!
In the JT 531 vehicle, the nose texture is 32 bit translucency whereas that of 4505 is 24 bit transparency. Unfortunately, I can't check it out because I don't know how to change it
Cheers,
Ged
EDIT : After playing around with the files, I got what I think is a slightly 'better' version, although it's still not right!!
