MEC Acts
Hi all,
Having recently downloaded Mick Clarkes superb updated version 1.7 Mid East Coast I have noticed a couple of activities i.e. Coal Run to Whitemoor part 2 and Long Distance Mail that are routed south of Lincoln toward Spalding do not load. They ran perfectly prior to the recent update. Any ideas why please.
Regards Ken H.

Hi Ken,
The Coal Run to Whitemoor part 2 activity is more than 2 years old. You say that it previously ran correctly, but which version of MEC were you running at that time? Maybe there have been some tdb changes.
Regarding the Long Distance Mail activity, I don't have that in my archives and can't trace it on trainsim.com. If it was from UKTS, what is its file ID?
Cheers,
Ged
EDIT : Open Rails does, in fact, report the path West Holmes to White Moor as broken.
TrackViewer reports several Whitemoor paths, including that of the activity's Player, as 'broken'. It is not able to fix them which means the only option is to do it manually. (Sorry, I'm not offering!!).

Hi Ged,
Having regard to your observations on my query; I was running the original version of MEC as per TSSH download i.e. Version 1 and the Long Distance Mail activity was from the Mid East Plus Cd from UKTS which I believe it was written by Laurie Dickerson and upgraded by Mick Clarke on 2010.
Thanks for your time, Best Regards KenH.

Re: MEC Acts
Hi Ken,
MidEast Coast v1 was released in 2021 so if Mick Clarke upgraded the Long Distance Mail activity in 2010, it couldn't have been for MidEast Coast !!
My version of Long Distance Mail is dated 2012 and included in my MidEast Plus route. As such, it is very unlikely to run under any version of MidEast Coast.
The Coal Run to Whitemoor activities were created in January 2022 for MidEast Coast v1 (which was created in Dec 2021) so they are unlikely to run in v1.7.0 of the route.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: MEC Acts
Hi Ged.
I have reverted to MEC v1 and both acts run ok which suggests that the broken paths from west holmes to whitemoor maybe are the problem, v1 for me then. lol.
Cheers Ken H.
