WE are now referenced in UKTS!
I note this morning that Peter Peddlesden has posted a link to this forum in the "Where is everyone" thread!
It may tempt others to join in.

Hi all,
I think you may have that one slightly backwards.
I setup this forum because I appreciate you all very much and I have been saddened to see that a lot of you have been
disrespected by the newer/sometimes not so new users.
I had read that some were considering walking away from the forums/hobby altogether because of this and I did not want
people to lose/have strained friendships, as well as the hobby losing the collective wisdom of you all.
Having personally welcomed/invited most of you, it has come as a surprise that alot of you have considered setting up a new forum specifically like this one.
Sorry if this seems a little mushy but I truly do appreciate everything that you all have done for everyone over the years,
So a big thank you must go out to all of you, for if you guys left altogether there would be very little left.
This forum is dedicated to the hard working, caring and knowledgeable people who have enabled the humble MSTS to grow and evolve into what it is today.
Don't forget: you all can invite your friends to join this forum, (I'm still fairly new to posting and don't know the 'who's friends with who' full list yet )

Good morning everyone
I would just like to say thanks to Justin for setting up this forum
I hope it goes from strength to strength and proves to be a place of friendship and sharing our great hobby
There will be some who are aware that I mainly use Railworks and indeed created Candlewick for it
But that does not prevent me enjoying seeing what the loyal MSTS fans are working on
Kind regards to you all Stephen

Hello All,
I have just had a great time reading through the various posts and topics here. A wave of nostalgia has swept over me. This is how things used to be. I find a great atmosphere of respect, concern, dialogue and open discussion. Fantastic. Long may it continue. Thanks to all concerned with the creation and maintenance of this website.
Regards,
Chris
