Broken Paths
Hi,
Is there a simple way to find broken paths without loading each activity in turn and then reacting to the hissy-fit whenever AE finds one? I always thought RR would do this, (maybe it did in the past) but doesn't seem to at the moment.
I'm really tempted to change some trackwork on NWE, but know that lots of current paths run through that particular area, but really would like to know for sure so that they can be corrected,

Re: Broken Paths
Hi Terry,
Open Rails Track Viewer can fix broken paths, but I've had mixed success with it!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Broken Paths
Hi Terry.
The short answer is "no" you don't have to open each activity. You just open one activity, "edit" the traffic pattern, "edit" a service and then there will be a drop down of all of the paths for the route. The broken ones will have (broken path) on the end of the path name. Fixing them can be a bit fiddly. I wrote a tutorial quite a long time ago on how to do it and it used to be on Railworks America but it doesn't appear to be there now. I'll see if I can find it. I'll email you.
Regards,
Bob.

Re: Broken Paths
Cheers Bob,
I think that I'm ok in fixing the paths, (thanks to your excellent tutorial )... except for those containing reversing points, which will probably have to be re-written. Thankfully there will be only one or two,
It was finding them which was the issue, Thankfully I now have the solution,
Thanks again,
T
