Route La Pignata/Landes_V1
I have this route installed but it calls up numerous Consists which I do not have. I assume that I failed to download them when I downloaded the route.
I now cannot find the route anywhere on the "Net".
Any suggestions?
Google Translate suggests that the word is Corsican meaning "pot" which makes sense as there seem to be plenty of restaurants with the name.

Sorry, it should be Pignada. And the description when one opens it is:
"Ligne des chemins de fer du PO-Midi de Morencx a Mont-de-marsan et Hagetmau. Annees 1934 a 1950"
So not Corsican even if the word is.

Hi Jonathan,
There's a Spanish route available from trainsim.com which seems to have the name La Pignada - its file name is landes.zip
It's by Richard Garcia and was uploaded in Dec 2006
I don't know about consists, but the .zip file contains a list of links for the stock, but I fear most are no longer available
If you are short of any stock, please ask! I have quite a quantity of European stock, collected over the years, but, of course, I can't promise to have all (or, even, any) that's needed!!
Cheers,
Ged

Thanks. That sounds like the one as Richard Garcia is mentioned on the opening screen. A bucolic French country branch though.
I'll keep looking.

I have now found a post on a Forum saying that when the route was uploaded the Consists were not included and were not uploaded later, so it looks as if I am wasting my time looking for them.
Richard Garcia seems to have been involved with a number of very nice routes in various countries.
So case closed.

Hi Jonathan,
I know you said "Case closed", but I found route Landes v2, although it has a slightly different name. It does come with consists, although some of the stock seems to be rather elusive!!
Please let me know if you'd like the link.
Cheers,
Ged

If it is the French route, yes please. It is beautifully done.

Hi Jonathan,
http://www.thuthuboutick.fr/simulation/ferroviaire/enligne/msts/routes/midi/
It's the last one on the list - landes.rar
Some stock is also included, but not the actual ones required! Maybe they are replacements?
Let me know what you think
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Route La Pignata/Landes_V1
Thanks. Yes, that seems to be it, though not nearly so many activities. And it seems to have the Consists though they are completely different and some seem to be those from the original program..
There is a rather similar site which has many Austrian and German stock files but not many routes:
http://trainsim.netshadow.net/
They seem to be some kind of "trawling" site collecting information from other sites. Not that I am complaining.
