BR Class 501
I have several Consists in my installation calling up the Class 501 EMU, but it does not seem to exist in MSTS. The Consist names all begin with RS.
Any suggestions?

Re: BR Class 501
Hi Jonathan,
Yes, Mate
Class 501s are included in the stock on the Thames-Mersey CD. I can find the 'rs' prefix on service and path files but not consists.
I'm pretty certain that 'rs' is Richard Stevenson (perfnet) who uploaded a large number of activities for MSTS.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: BR Class 501
Thanks. That makes sense, geography wise, North London Line. I downloaded Thames-Mersey rather than getting the CD. Hence the missing stock. I know that in the past I faked a class 501 ftrom a SR EMU which looks reasonably similar.
RS is also the prefix for a lot of the Chiltern route files but that is as far as I can see by Dave Forrest, AKA Doc Martin

Re: BR Class 501
Hi Jonathan,
I beg to differ, but David Forrest and DocMartin (Martin Phillips) are two different people!
Also, according to the Chiltern route's documentation, Richard Stevenson wrote many, if not all, of the activities!

Re: BR Class 501
Apologies that I got it wrong. I had looked at the Installation instructions for a Chiltern route update and it was signed by Dave Forrest. Now looking again at the Installation Instructions for thr original dcownload it says at the top "Route designed and built by Martin Phillips (DocMartin)" but it is signed at the end by Dave Forrest. All is now clear, and your comment about the activity writing explains the file prefixes.
