MEP Deltic Cabview
Hi guys sorry to be a pain again
Is there anyway to get a realistic forward view in the MEP Deltic cab, please.
Up and down keys just change the horizon.
Could do with a way to change the eye level height in cab.
Mike.

Re: MEP Deltic Cabview
Hi Mike,
In your MEP Trainset open the CABVIEW folder, then open MEPdelticAirC and the first few lines should be as below
CabViewType ( 2 )
CabViewFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Front1024.ace )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Front1024.ace )
Position ( -0.9 3.15 6.2 )
Direction ( 16 5 0 ) THIS IS THE LINE TO ALTER
CabViewFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Left1024.ace )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Left1024.ace )
Position ( 0 3.15 6.2 )
Direction ( 10 -78 0 )
CabViewFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Right1024.ace )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( ../../common.MEP/DelticCabMEP/Right1024.ace )
Position ( 0 3.15 6.2 )
Direction ( 0 90 0 )
Change the highlighted line using any Unicode text, preferably Context.
You will need to do the same for reverse cabview as well.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: MEP Deltic Cabview
Hi Mike,
The numbers highlighted are the correct values - these are what's in my cabview and works well.
The values refer to up/down from horizontal, right/left from straight ahead and right/left from vertical. Sorry if I've over simplified this.
Regards,
Stephen
