Norton and TGATool2A Empty Norton and TGATool2A

I've just had a most odd occurrence in so far as I went to click on an ACE file in order to carry out some mods via TGATool2A and Norton threw a wobbly and deleted it! I'm at a loss as to why because the Norton community ratings are good and I've been using it for some considerable period of time. I've reinstalled it from a back up and it has worked again but . . . !!!!
If anybody can throw any light on this I would be most interested to hear?

Hi Alec,
Sorry, I can't help as I don't run Norton, but I wonder if it's anything to do with the fact that .ace was used as an extension to (very old) archive files.

Cheers,
Ged

Thanks for the reply, and thankfully it's still working since the previous post.

This is one of the reasons that I don't use or recommend Norton to any of my Customers! It is so fussy!!

I consider Norton to be overpriced bloatware, there are much better alternatives out there.
