34046 + 44932

Hi all,
I am hoping to go out and photograph 34046 (Braunton) + 44932 (Black 5) this coming weekend at Crowborough and also on the Bluebell Railway! Trouble is there are no times up yet? Does anyone know if this is still going ahead and if so, any times elsewhere?

Hi Andy,
There are a couple of timings on this page : http://www.railwaytouring.net/uk-day-trips/blue-bell-explorer-09-11-13 but they don't seem to match the narrative printed above!!

Thanks for the Info. If anyone has any detailed times, I can work around my photography etc.... Not sure what you mean about not matching the "Narrative"???
UKSteam.info in the link I have posted has got both locos as 34046 and 44932 as 34067 'Tangmere' isn't anywhere ready currently! Thanks for the link though Ged! Hopefully it is running!!! (Fingers Crossed)

Sorry, mate, it was the way I was reading it, and it didn't help not knowing the geography of the Bluebell Line!
It now makes sense, if it takes about an hour to run from Horsted Keynes to Sheffield Park.

Hi Ged,
Aaahh, I see what you mean now..... I think this is because of the stop off time at Sheffield Park to allow for re-coaling and filling up the tenders for the outward run back up to London! Obviously with 2 locos in tow! I would imagine they will be top and tailed on the outward leg to Uckfield because of no run-round facility there and lack of platform space!
It's going to be only the second time a steamer has come through my home town! And with 2 I am very privileged!  
Look forward to it! That's assuming it does run!!!

I've got all the times now for tomorrow and also the times of the Bluebell's own locos; so expect a few photos tomorrow on here of 34046 and 44932 and with some of the resident locos.
I'll be away from the desk from about 8:30am till late evening. Route planned out and all batteries charged!
