Java Empty Java

Hi all.

I have been having problems with Java for a while now, routeriter will not recognize it even with all the classes installed.

I did read somewhere that routeriter doesn't like the later versions of Java, so I installed an earlier version (V7) of java, both 64bit and 32bit, but routeriter still wont recognize it.

Any ideas as to what could be causing it?

I am running windows7 64bit

Thanks in advance. OK

Here's a screen shot of the content of my current Java folder. Can you confirm that it is similar to yours?

Hi Andy.

I'm just getting the java not installed message when I start routeriter, even though it is installed with the classes folder included, I have the 64bit version in program files and the 32bit version in program files (x86) so don't know why routeriter is not recognizing it.

I have managed to fix it. OK

I uninstalled all instances of java from my computer, then installed an older version of Java that I know worked with routeriter, but I still got the error message, so I uninstalled then reinstalled routeriter from scratch, I still got the error message, so I replaced the files in the classes folder with the ones from the new install of routeriter, and now routeriter is working again without that Java error message.

Thanks to all who responded.

Mark.
